Do you know if Event Card which is added to "Grown" album ver. A is in every album or only in random ones? Because I didn't get one and I don't know if I should argue with the shop where I bought the album (I am an European fan). They write in description "Album + booklet + Event Card (random) + poster". First they answer me that I will recive card, but later they write that product company said it’s random card. So, some album have event card, and the others are not. And I don't know what to do

It’s a random card, more like a lucky Willy Wonka ticket, so not every album comes with the invitation card. You don’t need to argue with the shop.

U know, your blog is the one that shifted me from just-look-and-enjoy-the-video-of-2PM kind of fan to read-that-enormous-long-essays-about-2PM fan. So here comes my first question : This is my impression of the big 3 companies. SM = The biggest one of the 3 with that long list of (successful) idol groups. YG= Cleverest with PSY and the SEO system thingy. And JYP = Oh they're big 3 ? With only 2PM ? My real question is JYP really doing a bad job ? I mean you've seem know what's going on in field.

Anonymous

I really don’t know much about other companies, but JYPEnt is still of the big 3. Sure, it’s the smallest of the big companies, but such companies as Cube still lag behind JYPent in the income department.

It’s not only 2PM in JYPent. Granted, they bring back perhaps the biggest amount of income from their overseas activities, but there’s also Miss A with Suzy who is extremely popular and probably can support JYPent with her commercial deals alone lol

Not to mention there’s also Wonder Girls, JJ Project, 15& and many other artists, plus a whole bunch of actors. JYPent reaches a lot further than we sometimes think.

The way I see JYPent, and this is my own PERSONAL opinion, is that they are like… artists lol. Their creative department is really good. They produce high quality music that is different from what others do, and perhaps not everyone can digest it, but they really aren’t this factory that spawns multiple CDs and photobooks and what not.

In a way it is, perhaps their disadvantage as well, because from the way I see it, JYPent suck at marketing big time. So while I adore the JYEnt’s creative team, I frequently facepalm at JYPEnt’s marketing team. However, that is not something I can do anything about, so I just keep on supporting 2PM, because that’s the thing that brings me entertainment. Worrying about random marketing specialists is not my job, nor do I want to kill my brain cells with such worries.

why during performances Taec and Jun.K have hand microphone, while others have microports?

Anonymous

It depends on the choreography, sound engineering and the type of microphone they feel the most comfortable with while they perform the song.

How long will be WGM with Taec aired?

Anonymous

I know that they wrapped up the filming already, but I don’t know how many episodes will be made out of the material they’ve filmed, because I don’t watch it. However, Taecyeon doesn’t film WGM anymore. The shooting’s done.

Okay. First of all, STOP. The fact that this kind of rumour is coming NOT from the Korean side seems RIDICULOUS to me. I think sometimes international fans forget that they are international fans. Meaning, OUTSIDE Korea. Meaning, you don’t get FIRST HAND information. Meaning, THINGS GET DISTORTED AND YOU CANNOT RELY ON THEM.
Not a SINGLE Korean Hottest that I know left the fandom or turned away from Khun after the accident. Quite the opposite, the Khun-stans that I know become even more supportive of him. If Korean fans leave fandom, it’s usually for personal reasons, not because of some random accident. We are all humans, we all make mistakes. And saying something like “they don’t cheer for Khun, how can they call themselves fans”, is way over your jurisdiction as an international Hottest. Because all we do, is sit in front of our computer screens, and wait for the pictures and news that are posted by KOREAN Hottest, who don’t eat (that’s why 2PM feeds them), and don’t sleep, and ruin their health just so they could take a picture, or be with 2PM and support them. Fangirling is serious business. And in my opinion, saying something like “Hottest are too quiet during Khun’s part” is a direct INSULT to Korean Hottest, because they are the ones who have been waiting for him the most.
Next, how can you conclude something just by watching a TV broadcast? Do you know how cheers get into the TV broadcast? There are special microphones right in front of the audience, and the sound engineer edits the sounds before they go online. TV stations could MUTE the fans if they wanted to. And besides, I don’t see where this comes from really. Is it because Hottest scream real hard during Khun’s part in Without You? That comes with the background story, and actually each song has something special, just like Hottest screaming their heads off during Wooyoung’s part in Hands Up. How come no one said that Hottest cheer “only for Wooyoung” on Hands Up then?
The bottom line is that, Korean Hottest support Khun with all their hearts, he is not treated badly, STOP SPREADING RUMOURS about things YOU DON’T KNOW. Unless you are in Korea and you speak Korean, refrain from making bold statements that make other old-timers feel bitter.
Thank you.

Is it true that in korea our 2pm boys got the most antis? It such a pity. Everytime I read netizenbuzz (about 2pm), i rarely see positive comments. Its like no matter what they did, or achieved, will be put in bad lights.

Anonymous

Urgh, I think this question has been handled in other ways before, but what the hell.

I will be honest with you. I DON’T CARE about antis, so I don’t go out and do not count anti-cafes and negative comments on purpose. I wouldn’t say that 2PM is the band that has the biggest number of antis in Korea. It’s not like people hate them. Actually, judging from my Korean timeline, the ordinary Korean public is generally pleased with their image and their comeback.

Antis are pathetic people who feel sore about their own lives and just need to release their stress and don’t know how else to do it, but hate other people.

Also, netizenbuzz does not reveal the opinion of the entire Korean population or the Korean netizens. There are people who just post negative comments as a HOBBY, so no matter which article you open, about any celebrity, there will ALWAYS be negative comments, because some people just HATE it when others are lucky. It’s called jealousy.

Also, there are still the so-called gang-tests and Park-jummas (hardcore Park Jaebeom fans) who always leave negative comments about 2PM ever since the notorious conference. They always say that JYPent buys publicity (lol, it would actually do some good if they really DID spend some money on that), that Hottest go to to Jay Park’s page on Melon and leave negative comments and rate down his songs (while Hottest don’t even care), that 2PM is a trashy band with nothing new etc etc etc.

I see many Hottest-Jaywalkers among international fandom, but don’t be fooled - no such thing exists among Korean fandom. Hottests and Jaywalkers are ABSOLUTELY separate entities that don’t even want to know anything about each other.

As for the antis. I don’t wanna sound boring or anything, but really, haters gonna hate. And no piece of logical persuasion will change that. They are sorry little people who just don’t know how else to spend their free time, and since I value my sane mind (or whatever is left of it), I do not concern myself with the issue.

Do you know if 2PM stay at hotels while they're in Japan or if they have a house there?

Anonymous

They don’t stay in Japan for a long time (unlike Tohoshinki did in the old days), and judging from the fact, that they always tweet or upload hotel pics on Hottest Mobile Japan, I’d say they stay at hotels. Haven’t heard anything about them having a house there.

TIME FOR 2PM

2PM came back with 2 title songs. A comeback in almost 2 years. They are displaying the health and maturity of young men in their own way. Their last minute of leisure before the comeback activities was spent at the Vogue studio.

These days new words and phrases are coined almost instantly, but even if the world was about to change, such word combination as “beastly-idols” is set to remain.

This outstanding word combination that seems to be drenched with sweat was born because of 2PM. If it hadn’t been for 2PM, perhaps the teenage boy idols would be still focusing on faces only, without any display of abs.

2PM has come back. In an entertainment world where almost every other singer makes a comeback every single year, it’s their first comeback in 2 years. In the beginning of May they one by one revealed the two double title songs from their 3rd album GROWN – “Come back When You Hear This Song” and “A.D.T.O.Y”, and their music videos. They didn’t show off a muscular physique that would be unattainable for the ordinary men of the same age group.

Instead of that, there was a 2PM that enthusiastically expressed their emotion in a song with a musical-like choreography. There was a 2PM that, instead of displaying their bodies, tried to win with a mature energy they have acquired over time. Although they did not betray the “beastly-idols” that are engraved in our memory, they have started displaying what it means to be healthy and mature young mean in their own way.

Right before the regular album activities began, 2PM had their last minute to spare.

The studio prepared by Vogue became 2PM’s hideout for recuperation. They spent a time of their own in front of the camera, and little by little they changed not into the “macho” on stage, but into men in their mid-20s who have a lot to say.

It’s a long awaited interview with 2PM who are about to drown the entertainment world in their own colours.
