Hi.

Well, back in their rookie days Chansung was notorious for his lack of eloquence. That is not to say he was dumb or anything, there are a lot of smart and deep people who just don’t know how to arrange their thoughts properly. Chansung was one of them. To the point that whenever 2PM would guest at some radio show a DJ would inquire: Has your maknae learned how to talk properly yet? lol

I have to say that, Chansung’s ability to express himself has improved over the years, and so did the length of his tweets but that’s not the point. He does not use wrong words, it’s just that his sentences are really long and you sometimes get lost in what exactly he is trying to say. For example, Taecyeon and Junho have Korean language at their finger-tips, and their tweets are hard to translate either because of ambiguity or because of certain ways of expression that cannot be preserved. Thus - LOST IN TRANSLATION. That’s one of the reasons why sometimes fans think Junho is rude when we translate his tweets in English, but he’s really not, it’s just that that “feel” of his way of talking cannot be preserved.

Taecyeon is often hard to translate because there are many ways to interpret his tweets, and he knows it! So he writes it on purpose! lol. Chansung, on the other hand, is nowhere near ambiguous, it’s just… tangled, for the lack of a better word.

So yeah, he is somewhat complicated to grasp especially in a written form, but he has improved a lot over the years. His speaking is a lot better now, and I don’t find it hard to understand. Sometimes Wooyoung is harder, because he speaks in a very Asian way (round about in circles) on purpose, making random philosophies (organisms heart to heart).

The funny thing though… is that Chansung’s thought arrangement in Japanese is crystal clear xD

I’m sorry, I really don’t know, because I don’t have many Chan-stans on my timeline, and I definitely will not going to search for it. I only saw comments that said: “Chansungie doesn’t talk much T.T”.

P.S. Please, no more questions about Radio Star. I already wrote a huge-ass essay, and it feels like this is blowing up like a big bubble of soap full of nothing, but air.

I saw it on Twitter the other day, but nothing was explained. It probably must’ve been a regular check-up.

I’m pretty sure that all Kaito Royale episodes are available at Wild2Day, but not sure whether they have English subs. I’m sorry, I watched it with Korean subs, so I have no idea how the English subs factory works lately >_<

Junho and Khun do not need glasses. Minjun and Wooyoung wear contacts. I’m not sure about Chansung. In a Japanese magazine interview he once said that his eyesight is 0.8~0.7, if it’s on the same scale as in Europe, then he may need glasses, but not very strong, 0.8 is actually good enough to walk around without any glasses, but I don’t know, maybe a different scale is used in Asia.
